
Diabetes mellitus, often refered as Diabetes which is a group of metabolic diseases in which a person has high blood sugar level. This is because the body either not producing enough INSULIN, or because body cells do not properly respond to the insulin that is produced.
Cause
Genetic defect of Beta cell function (responsble for insulin formation in Pancreas).
Genetic defects in insulin processing or insulin action.
Chronic pancreatitis.
Infection.
Eating frequently.
Stress.
Sedantary Lifestyle.
Lack of physical exercise.
Obesity.
Drugs.

Soak amla (pieces) along with 2 or 3 basil leaves in one glass of water overnight. |
Drink the water early in the morning daily. |
Seeds of jambu fruits | : 100 gms (powder) |
Flower of Eka duha | : 100 gms |
Sugandhi roots | : 100 gm (Pound and make powder) |
Mix all constituents add one or two spoons old jaggery to 2 or 3 spoons powder and prepare coffee.
Wash, dry, make powder and store.
Add 1 or 2 pinches to whatever food is prepared.
Good turmeric powder | : 250 gm |
Amla powder (Goose berry powder) | : 250 gm |
Mix uniformly and store in a glass bottle.
1/4 to 1/2 spoon for children and 1 spoon for elders before food with one hour gap. Two times a day with warm water.
Soak 5-6 Jambu leaves (Jamun tree leaves or Guava tree leaves) in a glass of water over night. Gargle with the water (after removing leaves) early in the morning and then drink the water. Do this for 40 days. Gives good results for Diabetics.

Mix all the powders and store.
Add one spoon powder to one glass water and boil till half glass remains. Add tati bellam powder or old jaggery powder and drink.
Neem leaves (vepa) | : 200 gms. |

Indian Gum Arabic tree leaves (thumma) | : 100 gms. |
Boel tree leaves | : 100 gms. |
Wash it cleanly dry them in shade, powder them until nice powder and filter the powder through a white cloth. Mix all powders and preserve it in glass jar. Take half tea spoon to one tea spoon in accordance with your sugar levels mix it in a cup of water. Consume it half an hour before you take food. This helps to control diabetes.
The best remedy for this disease is the bitter gourd, better known as 'karela'. Eat this vegetable as often as you can or have at least one tablespoon of karela juice daily to reduce blood sugar levels in your blood and urine.
Amla, due to its vitamin C content is effective in controlling diabetes. A tablespoon of its juice, mixed with a cup of fresh bitter-gourd juice, taken daily for two months will help to control Diabetes
Take two teaspoons of powdered Fenugreek seeds with milk. Two teaspoons of the seeds can also be swallowed as it is daily.
Eat 10 fresh fully grown curry leaves every morning for three months. It helps to prevent diabetes.
