Teeth Sensivity

Definition 
Dentine hypersensitivity is sensation felt when the nerves inside the dentin of the teeth are exposed to the environment. 
The sensation can range from irritation all the way to intense, shooting pain. This sensitivity can be caused by several factors, including wear, decaying teeth or exposed tooth roots.

Remedies

INGREDIENTS :

Cardomum seeds : 30 gm.
Salt crystals : 60 gm.
Chalk powder : 60 gm.

Method of preparation : 
Grind all the three together and use it as a tooth powder daily. 
Take equal quantity of Guava pieces and Alum pieces. Pound them and store. Add two spoons of this powder to one cup of water and boil it to prepare decoction. Use this decoction in warm condition to gargle. 
Prepare powder of equal weight of dry Ginger, long Pepper, Black Pepper, mace(Myristica fragrans) Rock Salt and store. Add a little powder to honey or oil and brush without touching lips.

3.Prepare powder of equal weight of dry ginger, long pepper, black pepper, nut meg, rock salt and store in a glass bottle. Add a little powder to honey or oil and brush without touching lips.

Indications :Diet includes plenty of raw vegetables and whole wheat bread. Whole foods are ideal for the teeth.

Contraindications : Frequent small snacks are very harmful to teeth, as they produce an acid medium in which the bacteria thrive. The number of times one eats sugar is one of the most important factors in determining the rate of decay. For this reason, it is better to eat sweets at the end of a meal rather than in between meals.
