Snoring is the vibration of respiratory structures and the resulting sound, due to obstructed air movement during breathing while sleeping. In some cases the sound may be soft, but in other cases, it can be rather loud and quite unpleasant.


Avoid smoking and alcohol 
Heavy weight people should reduce weight 
Keep your head elevated on a wedge pillow to avoid snoring 
Light meal at night before 2 hours of going to bed 
Instillation of 1-2 drops of neem oil daily twice in to nose will help in reducing snoring 
Try to sleep on your side 
Singing will help as it exercises strengthen your throat 
Always sleep on a firm mattress 
Do not take any sleeping pills as it worsens the condition 
Take 1-2 sips of olive oil before going to bed.
