Grey Hair

Usually the greying of hair is considered to be the initial sign of ageing. However, this is not always so. 
Greying hair is a condition in which the hair starts to lose its colouring pigment. 
The hair which loses its original black shade and turn into Grey/white. 
Greying of hair is usually caused when the pigment melanin is no longer manufactured in the hair follicles. 
Thus there are a lot of people who suffer from this condition in which hair turns grey prematurely. 
This may be caused because of many reasons like: 
Hormonal imbalance. 
Lack of Physical Activities and exercises. 
Improper Diet. 
As complication of other Disease.




  1. Soak dry Amla powder overnight. Make paste to consistency and apply to hair. Wait for half an hour and take bath.
  2. Soak a handful of dry or fresh Amla fruits overnight. Remove water and fry the pieces lightly in cow\\\'s ghee. Take them with food or even directly two to three times in a day.
  3. Make powder of Triphala; Haritaki, Vibhitaki and Amalaki 100 gm each (only bark or top part) and sieve it trough in a fine cloth. Add milk to 1 or 2 spoons powder in a bowl and make paste to consistency. Apply paste to hair and take bath after an hour. Do not use shampoo. Kapha Prakruti people apply in the afternoon and take bath.
  4. You can also warm some coconut or mustard oil and massage your scalp with it regularly.
  5. Take Garlic peel in large quantity because on making ash it will come to small quantity.Roast the garlic peel on a paan(Beetel Leaf) till it becomes black ash. Filter the ash to get fine powder with a cotton cloth.Add olive oil to this ash to make it just like hair die.Preserve it for 7 days(do not store in refrigerator).After 7 days apply it to hair in the same way as hair die. Preferably apply it at evening times and have head bath next morning. For still better results try to apply it for longer duration.
  6. Have a glass of cow\\\'s milk daily twice.
  7. Instill a good quality Neem oil in both the nostrils and breath in around one hour before having food.
  8. Bhringarajadi Churnam 

Bhringaraja leaves 
Amla powder 
Sesame seeds 
Candy sugar, all to be taken in equal proportion (50 to 100gr each). 
Method of Preparation 
Mix the above Ingredients well and store it properly. 
Have it along with a cup of water daily one hour before food. Initially have half teaspoon of this Churnam with a cup of water daily one hour before food and increase the dosage to one teaspoon gradually.

Sesame seed oil 
Method of Preparation 
Extract the juice of Bhringaraja leaves , Neeli leaves, amla leaves. Mix it with Sesame seed oil. Boil it on mild flame till only oil portion remains ( A thick oil is obtained) 
Apply it regularly for 3-6 months. You will definitely find the result 

Pathya (Food to be Taken) 
Consume lots of vitamins and minerals. Vitamins B, C, E and K are essential for your hair. Your hair is essentially made of proteins. Therefore, it is important to consume a good amount of proteins in your diet. Drink plenty of water in a day. 

Apathya (Food to be Avoided) 
Oily and Spicy Food, Junk Food, Alcohol, Smoking and Carbonated Drinks etc
