Choleterol Imbalance

A discharge of white or yellow coloured mucus from the vagina. It may be a normal condition, increasing before and after menstruation, but a large discharge probably indicates an infection somewhere in the genital tract. 
Female genitals are very much prone to infections since they are moist, more sweaty and covered. The white vaginal discharge with foul smell makes it embarrassing to get into social gatherings and even engage in personal affairs. 
Leucorrhoea or white discharge usually shows symptoms in association with other illness. Wide variety of reasons are encountered in its causation. Commonly fungal, parasitic, bacterial and sexually transmitted diseases are the prime causative factors.



- Eat a clove of garlic every morning on empty stomach. In fact, the intake of garlic should be increased by adding it to daily food preparations as it lowers LDL cholesterol level and increases HDL.
- Include ginger in your diet as it also reduces cholesterol and thins the blood which improves its circulation.
- Take guggulu which reduces triglycerides
- Eat more of raw food.
- Eat barley. Its good if you replace rice with barley.
- Have oatmeal regularly.
- Eat apples everyday after every meal.
- Drink fresh fruit juices, particularly carrot, and beet root juice.
- Have soymilk.
- Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily.
- Take onion juice.
- Apply mudpack over abdominal area.
- Obesity is one of the major causes of high cholesterol levels. Reduce weight
- Take 2 spoons of coriander seeds. Mix it with a glass of water and boil. Let it cool for some time and then strain it. Drink it thrice a day. It lowers blood cholesterol and stimulates the kidneys.
- Eat handful of almonds and walnuts daily.
- Take 10 pieces of cinnamon sticks of 2.5cm each, a tablespoon of honey and 5 teacups of water Mix them and boil. Drink this hot mixture.
- Quit smoking and alcohol

Asanas: Ardhamatsyaendrasana, Halabhansan, Padmasana, Paschimottanasana, Mandukasana, Shalbhasana, Trikonasana, Ushtrasana and Vajrasana.

Pranayama: Anuloma-viloma, Bhramari, Kapalbhati.
